There is no NBA tonight so here is a few Basketball movies to keep you busy for the night and where to stream them. Well as of 4/14/2022 . These are in no particular order but they are all awesome.
5. Blue Chips starring Celtics Legend Shaquille O’Neil & Nick Nolte is a really fun movie showing just how dirty recruiting can be in college basketball. It’s well acted and the basketball scenes are very well done especially by most movie standards. Which is what happens when you have actual ballers playing. Oh and of course it also has fellow Celtics Legend Larry Bird who should have gotten an Oscar.
Stream Blue Chips on Paramount+
4. He Got Game – A Spike Lee Joint starring Denzel Washington , Ray Allen , & Rosario Dawson . It’s actually been a long time since I’ve watched this so I was excited to see it on Paramount+ . It’s a very good movie and it’s Denzel you literally can’t go wrong.

3. Love & Basketball – Love & Basketball stars Omar Epps & Sanaa Lathan as childhood sweethearts both chasing their dreams of playing basketball. The acting is good & it’s refreshing to show a relationship like this. Not enough quality movies showing girls love of basketball as well.
Stream Love & Basketball on HBO Max
2. Above The Rim – Great cast featuring Duane Martin , Tupac Shakur , Bernie Mac , Leon , Marlon Wayans where we see a player having to choose who to play for. relationships with two brothers, a drug dealer and the other a former basketball star fallen on hard times. Great performances all around and a great soundtrack.

- White Men Can’t Jump – White Men Can’t Jump is one of my all time favorite movies. Not just basketball but favorite movies period. As a baller myself it just spoke to me. This is street ball & Woody Harrelson & Wesley Snipes at their best. Rosie Perez is of course great as always. So don’t be a Stucci Brother & enjoy this classic before they ruin it with the remake they are about to start working on.
Stream White Men Can’t Jump on Hulu
So hope you enjoy these and tomorrow we get back to the play-ins and of course the playoffs really start on Sunday when the Celtics face the Nets.
